Dilworth IP is pleased to announce the addition of Joanne Davis to our team of professionals.

Joanne’s years of experience in the practice of law have been focused in the corporate sphere with an emphasis on transactions, commercial and joint-venture agreements, and technology licensing.  In the past, she has worked in the chemical, financial, health care and industrial business sectors, including 16 years in-house at a publicly traded, multi-national chemical manufacturer.  Joanne served as Assistant General Counsel, performing various duties related to business development and legal operations, including credit, security and other financial agreements; guaranties and indemnities; supply agreements; service, consulting, and sales agreements; international project financing; and toll manufacturing.

Ms. Davis is a magna cum laude graduate from the University of Bridgeport School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate, and is currently a Master of Laws candidate at Western New England College School of Law.  Following law school, Joanne clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and then spent several years as an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York City.  Joanne has a strong pro bono commitment, especially in advising non-profits in their corporate governance and operations.  Additionally, Joanne serves as Director of The Little Warriors, A Brian Bill Project, a non-profit organization dedicated in helping the children of fallen and injured US Navy SEALs.

Joanne’s knowledge and extensive experience further strengthens and diversifies Dilworth IP’s already substantial transactional practice and allows the Firm to expand our offerings in corporate and general business law.  We are excited to have such an accomplished attorney join our team and we welcome her on board!
