Dilworth IP is proud to be a sponsor of a young Connecticut inventor at this year’s National Invention Convention and Entrepreneurship Exposition’s (NICEE). Through the Connecticut Invention Convention, this program will send 30 young inventors from Connecticut to the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA to participate in the first-ever national competition for young inventors and entrepreneurs. Across the country, over 600 such local conventions exist, but this will be the first time that student inventors and entrepreneurs will be given the opportunity to compete on a national stage. The goal is that within 5 years, the NICEE will have participation from all 50 states and have over 10 million students involved. “The Firm has always been committed to encouraging entrepreneurship, especially through technology and innovation. The opportunity to sponsor a young inventor developing those skills at such an early age is most welcomed and extremely satisfying,” says Michael Dilworth, Founder of Dilworth IP.
