Dilworth IP is pleased to announce that Linda Gebauer is joining the firm as Of Counsel. Ms. Gebauer brings an extensive legal and technical background to the firm, previously serving as Director of the Intellectual Property Law Clinic at the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford.

 

Prior to that, Linda spent sixteen years in-house at various divisions of Energizer Holdings, ultimately serving as Vice President and General Counsel for its Personal Care Division. During this time, she held global responsibility for IP, marketing, advertising, regulatory, and litigation issues developed throughout acquisitions of several consumer product companies.

 

Linda has a wide-ranging background in IP law, from counseling some of the nation’s largest corporations to advising startups and small businesses in protecting their most important assets. Over the course of her career, Linda has seen how innovation and growth can be enhanced by integration of IP counsel into a broad range of business activities, from R&D and product development to marketing, advertising, and supply chain management.

 

In addition to her extensive professional experience, Linda holds bachelor degrees in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University and in History from the College of Wooster, as well as her J.D. from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
